The Hermès Slim d'Hermès Pocket Masan Masan pocket watch is special in that the cover uses "horsehair fine inlay" and hand-made gold carving to create an abstract three-dimensional horse totem, paying tribute to the historical origin of Hermès and equestrian sports http://www.watchbuyoff.ru.
This pocket watch is inspired by the Masan Masan silk scarf designed by Thai designer Terawat Teankaprasith for Hermès. "Masan" means "weaving horse" in Thai, originating from a unique rattan weaving technique in Thailand.
The brown horse pattern on the watch cover is made using horsehair fine inlay technology. The craftsman needs to select and cut hundreds of slender horsehairs one by one, and then seamlessly fit them into the gold frame. The vertical and horizontal weaving of the horse's chest is particularly powerful. The golden horse is hand-carved in gold, and the carvings imitate the lines of the horse's mane, creating a vivid and sparkling visual effect. Open the cover slightly and you can see the gray dial that also incorporates fine horsehair inlay technology. The horsehair is covered with a sapphire crystal printed with hour markers, which casts subtle light and shadow. The inside of the watch cover is engraved with a "double horse" pattern on the front with simple and neat lines. The white gold case has a diameter of 45mm and is equipped with H1950 automatic winding movement with a swing frequency of 21600vph and a power reserve of 48 hours.
